Below are a selection of links to the shops or websites of businesses we think you'll love, to help you shop small :)

There are also links to some websites that you may find useful if you're interested in sewing or venturing into the world of sewing!

Kent Coast Ghosts

Victoria's clay ghosties are some of my absolute favourite creations - they are so cute! Each individually handmade and beautifully finished, there are tall ghosts, small ghosts, ghosts in jars, and Victoria takes commissions too!

We have two Kent Coast Ghosts here at Purple Saurus HQ; "Drunk Ghostie" (a glow in the dark ghost in a jar with a tankard of beer), and "Blue Boo", a little blue ghostie ^__^

A Tiny Crafter

Ren makes adorable little polymer clay creatures which are right up my street! I can't wait to treat myself to one or two of them  ^__^

TILDeath Crafts Studio

More adorable, spooky ghostie fun, with painted log slices, hanging ornaments, tiny canvases and embroidery :)

Heather Norman

Heather is a wonderful milliner who has a great selection of women's and men's hats for all occasions! James and I both have a hat each, and I have my eye on one of her lovely waterproof wax hats for the winter :)

Nosey Toes Creations

Nicola's little needle-felted creations are absolutely adorable! I have a cute little Stingray badge from her, and her little Jumping Spiders are cute as cute can be ^__^

Silly Badger Designs

"Fun pet portraits and animal art to smile about" This is an extremely accurate description! Siobhan's cute little animal drawings are guaranteed to brighten your mood - she has a wonderful collection of greetings cards, so if you're after your Christmas cards look no further!

Made By Me Clay

"Handmade clay cake toppers and keepsakes".

Cute little sculptures- keyrings, cake toppers and gifts :)

The Star & Heart Studio

Beautiful ceramic jewellery, artistic pieces, tealight holders, ring holders and more! As usual with things I love, lots of cute creatures ^__^

Quick Sticks Knits

"Beautiful hand knitted toys, tea cosies & novelties." I bought a gorgeous beehive tea cosy for my mum a couple of Christmases ago, and I cannot describe how much I love it - I wish we used our teapot so I could have a "bee-cosy", but its just for show!

Funky Friends Factory

The wonderful Pauline over at Funky Friends Factory provided me with my first proper soft toy pattern, the Honey Teddy pattern (did I mention it's free when you subscribe to the newsletter?). I used it to make Teddy for James, and I've been slowly building my collection of her patterns ever since. My Lions, Foxes and Tortoises are all made using her patterns :)

TeacupLion

The super talented Laura over at TeacupLion is the pattern source for my ever popular Fat Bat! Her tutorials that come with the patterns are so detailed it's very difficult to go wrong! :D

Choly Knight

My extremely popular Narwhals are made using one of the awesome Choly Knight's patterns. The best part? It's one of her free patterns! Free pattern Friday is one of my favourite things, and some great patterns come out of it - go and check them out!

Minerva Crafts

Minerva Crafts are absolutely brilliant! They stock tons of great dressmaking and craft fabrics, as well as trims and all sorts of other goodies for making all kinds of projects. I've made two dresses using fabric purchased from them. They're also super helpful when it comes to customer service :)

Rooftop Fabrics

Rooftop is where I source my beautiful soft plush fabrics I use for my cuddly creations! The couple of times I've needed to contact them their customer service has been exemplary, and their range is ever expanding.

They also stock some beautiful cotton fabrics!

The Home Crafters

The Home Crafters is a wonderful shop selling some beautiful handmade products, as well as supplies for a variety of crafts, from sewing and crochet to card making and decoupage! They have a physical shop on Yate Shopping Centre, and are also online. You can find the link to their online shop below :)
